What the key words on KYCDeals mean, in English and Arabic.
Platform terms
- Request
- What a buyer posts describing exactly what they want; sellers respond privately.
- Offer
- A seller's private, sealed response to a request, with price and terms.
- Deal Room
- The guided space where a buyer and seller finalise a deal after an offer is chosen.
- Identity reveal
- The point at which each party's identity becomes visible to the other, after both sign.
- Dual signature
- Both parties must sign each agreement before identity is revealed.
- Verification level
- A 0–3 rung showing how much of a member's documentation a KYCDeals admin has reviewed.
- KYC
- "Know Your Customer" — reviewing identity documents a member provides.
- Proof of funds
- Documents a buyer provides so an admin can confirm they can transact.
- Mandate
- Authority for one party to act on another's behalf in a deal.
- Audit log
- An append-only record of sensitive actions, including admin document access.
